Unquestionably, the terrorist attack a week or so ago by Hamas upon Israel was despicable and deplorable, as are all such acts of violence, especially when innocent people are the victims. But equally deplorable are Benjamin Netanyahu's claim that Hamas bears sole responsibility, and Joe Biden's vow to stand with Israel, no matter what. Such myopic and extreme reactions, coming from world leaders, are ominously troubling. A little introspection and a good deal of humility on their part wouldn't hurt.
